You will become a human only when you will learn to see a human in another one. - A. N. Radischev

Leonid Sauta

It is very important for our patients to learn morally-ethical principles of judo: respect for a tatami, the teacher, respect and trust to the partner. Training of judo techniques is impossible without the partner. To grow by yourself, it is necessary to give something to those who are nearby. Basic principles of judo as well as a centre life are the mutual favor, trust and the careful relation to each other. In judo it becomes clear that it is possible to reach success only when a mind and a body work together. The basic techniques of judo cannot be mastered without understanding of own movements. Here the young man studies to supervise own body, feelings, thoughts and only after that - of his opponent's. In the training process comes the understanding that falling after throws is an important part of mastering them. Here the feedback from the partner (the information on errors), which has recently caused insult, aggression, and even a depression, it becomes desired and useful. Gradually he understands that one learns only on own errors. And the one to whom he has lost has learnt him. Understanding of this experience and parallel with a real life gives material for serious work in psychotherapeutic groups. Very important and rare today, in our opinion, is that during man's business, near to young men there is a trainer - the adult, formed man, whose approval and support means much. The founder of the Choice judo school is honored trainer of Ukraine Dmitry Lahno.
